Yorkshire Puddings Update

I haven't forgotten that I said I would make as many Yorkshire puddings as I could and try them any way I could imagine, however I can only have so many and although I find them to be unavoidably comforting, I realize they are not that good for you and so I have had to pace myself.
I never did make those vegetarian sausages, I did make, however vegetarian burgers.
I found a recipe in an old Mexican cookbook of how to make pea balls. Well, they look like meatballs but they are made out of peas. So I thought, why not make them into burgers? So I did, and although I hate peas, I must say these were unbelievably amazing!
I am not sure whether or not I should start posting recipes or not, I may want to hold on to them and then see what comes of it. But the point is, the idea was simple, so simple that for some reason I hadn't thought of it. Good food does not have to be complicated. Good and nutritious food can be simple and straight forward, as long as you use the ingredients you want, and you condiment it to your taste. If someone tells you that soy sauce is great, that's awesome! But if you don't like it, you don't like it, and move on! Don't try to eat something that is not you.
So now, I have frozen yorkshire puddings, I wonder what they are like? I can't imagine them being that good! But 10 minutes in the oven and no dishes to wash.... well, that is just a bit too tempting to pass on!

Yummy Wild Things.

Long Time Due

Well, it has been quite a while, I really am not good at keeping up with this blog and I keep saying that I will but I never really do. Now, I am creating another one, but that one is more of a business one and I guess that I will have to keep it if I want anything to come out of it.
Everything has changed since I last wrote to you. I haven't been to a good restaurant in a really long time and to be quite honest it is very depressing. All I seem to go out for is fish and chips and although it is okay, I would like to have that only once a year at most!
I have however been baking a lot and I am not as scared of it as I used to be. I have made bread puddings, lemon tarts, cookies, bread, and all sorts of pastries! It is very exciting to think that now I can actually bake! Mostly anyways, I'm far from good and I know it will take a really long time to get the proper hang of it. All in all, in the end it is probably a good thing that I haven't had any money to go out to good restaurants, I'm learning new things every day and I'm experimenting more than ever!
I shall write again very soon, there is so much to tell, so much to say, and so much change. The one thing that hasn't change and won't ever changed, is that I remain to be a very hungry Chicken!
